About Us

Accent A Cappella is the only completely student run and mixed a cappella group at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School in Sudbury, Massachusetts. Founded back in 2004, Accent has become an accredited a cappella group performing at several festivals, concerts, and benefits. Every year in the spring, Accent A Cappella hosts “Acappellapalooza,” at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, where groups from around the area come together and take part in this prominent high school a cappella festival. Look out for Acappellapalooza this year on Friday March 27th in the Kirshner Auditorium at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School!

Accent has also recorded several CDs. Of them, there are two entitled “Aquarium” and “Treading Water,” consisting of mainly pop and current songs. Another recording, “Hot Chocolate Melodies,” consists of purely holiday themed music. In 2012, we came out with Riptide, Vol. 1, which includes 7 “live-in-studio” tracks from our recent repertoire. The sequel to this album, Riptide, Vol. 2, now in its final stages of production, to find out when it hits the stands follow Accent on all of its social media. To purchase these albums, you can find us on iTunes and Spotify. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to send us an email.

Accent A Cappella is a community more than anything. We build off of each other, and help each other with singing and music. Accent continues to be a prominent part of the Lincoln-Sudbury music scene, and will continue to be as generations of students pass through high school.

Accent always sings in loving memory of Lily Karian.
